The Fibonacci sequence has been around since the 13th century, and it has since found its way into many fields of science. With this mysterious sequence proving to be invaluable in so many aspects of our life, it's only logical and see if it can be applied to the world of gambling.

If you aren't familiar with the Fibonacci betting system, it's a series of numbers in which the next number is determined by the sum of the previous two numbers. The series starts with 1, 1 and follows the formula. An example would look like this: 1 1 2 3 5 8 13.

I'll show you how to use the Fibonacci betting system with the Roulette, with our bets being black/red.

Using the sequence as a betting system has us following the series numbers, with 1 representing our betting unit. The betting unit could anything you want it to, but make sure that it's not too high so that you don't hit table limits by accident. If we lose a game, we move to the next number in the series. If we win, we cross out the last 2 numbers we've reached. Once we're back at 1, we've ended the sequence and we can start over.

A fairly typical round with this system would look a lot like this:

1st Bet 1 unit – lose,

2nd Bet 1 unit – lose,

3rd Bet 2 units – lose,

4th Bet 3 units – lose,

5th Bet 5 units – win, (cross out 5 and 3).

6th Bet 3 units – win,

Finished

Once we've finished the sequence, we have a profit of one betting unit, which is whatever you've chosen. Note that this could take some time, especially if you're after some big winnings, but this is by far one of the most stable ways of making a small but steady profit that could really add up.
